New social apps are coming out all the time and while some don’t last or may not be worth your time, others quickly become ways to market to your audience. TikTok is a great example of a newer platform that has become an unexpected business tool.

5. Get a Coach*

Social media is all about community, so you use that your advantage. Do a search for some like minded small businesses, they don’t even have to be local! Once you’ve found someone you’d be proud to team up with, maybe host some sort of online challenge, swap Instagram takeovers or do a joint giveaway for all of your followers.

2020 brought us to a need for the ‘good ole days’. And with that comes nostalgia. People are searching for comfort and positive sentiments. If you can make your customers feel warm and fuzzy, they’ll associate that with you going forward.

A fun, easy way to revamp your social is to update your bio often. Use your bio to showcase anything new you want to communicate to your clients – an event, a sale, a call to action. Always make sure your bios are consistent across all your social channels.
10. Be An Activist*
